A review of All Energy 2024
An exciting time for the industry
“Renewable Energy remains the most exciting and challenging industry to work in,” is the view of our Associate Director, Bethan Lewis, following All-Energy last week. Although challenges remain around grid connections, Bethan is optimistic about the future and the important role Cogeo has to play in the planning process.
“I believe we are entering into a new and exciting era for renewable energy. With hydrogen, BESS, and wind turbine repowering, there is a huge amount of potential development. For our team, these are exciting projects that allow us to utilise our wide range of skills and collaborate closely to solve problems. Around 95% of our work is in renewable energy at the minute and I don’t see that lessening any time soon”.
As for All-Energy itself, Anna Balls, Cogeo’s Lead Project Consultant, was enthusiastic about the event and the opportunities it presents.
“Cogeo having a stand at the event was a great investment. The chance to speak to our existing clients face-to-face, and meet new contacts and suppliers was invaluable. It was a unique opportunity to understand the challenges developers are facing and to present our process and solutions”.
A new era for Cogeo
Our Director, Dave Anderson, believes that the stand at All-Energy is a marker for Cogeo’s continuing growth.
“Being involved in renewable energy for many years, I’ve attended All-Energy previously, and I believe it is the marquee event for the sector in Scotland. I see our participation, with a stand at the show, as an important marker that reflects our continual growth and proves an excellent platform for our wider team to be involved in promoting the business. As we move into our next company expansion cycle, we are looking to utilise our existing renewable energy expertise to support our clients further and continue to grow our team. I can confidently say we’ll be exhibiting at next year’s conference as well as other key events this year”.
